Imagine A World Where Random Things Float

I open my eyes trying to figure out where the noise is coming from…  I look at the time and realise it's my alarm, 7:31 am. It’s time for school. I get dressed and eat my boring dry cereal. I look at the time, 8:25 am, I need to get going because school starts at 8:45 am. I begin walking to school. When I arrive I walk into my classroom… maths! I’m terrible at maths, and todays a test…

Tired and exhausted… I start my test. Everything is quiet except for the sounds of scratching pencils writing on paper, but suddenly a book floats towards a fan. I turn back to my test thinking I was just seeing things, but suddenly it hits the fan and paper flies in all directions!

Everyone is panicking... as all of the pencils, books and chairs start floating towards the ceiling. Kids AND teachers start running everywhere like blind chickens. But all of a sudden I’m starting to float up and up. “HELP!” I scream. *GRAB*! My friend helps me down. “Thanks” I told him. Was I just floating? I think to myself. CRACK! CRACK! BOOM! “What is that sound?” someone behind me yells. BOOM! The entire school is floating towards space on a giant rock…

This is so weird… only my school is floating… the rest of the world stays perfectly fine. My school floats higher and higher and HIGHER. Our principal orders everyone to go inside and tells us to close and lock the doors. It is very hard to close the doors when there is very little gravity and you're running out of oxygen. This is a very good school because there is no way the air can go out, so we can survive and breathe. Everyone is floating upside down, sideways and not knowing what to do. Then we look out the window…

Four giant rockets saying NASA come roaring towards us. Astronauts came out of the ships and began locking HUGE chains onto our school. They then warned us to brace for impact. A few minutes later we are heading straight into the… OCEAN! BOOM! I don't know what way is up, I’m running out of air… I woke up in a hospital surrounded by friends and family. I survived.

Gravity… is back.
