Imagine A World With No Air

I drop deeper and deeper into a lost world, where the final day has come. The lush green environment we once knew is gone. Left behind now is a sea of brown and grey plants, shrubs and trees. The environment has died and the human race has given up. The world will soon be gone forever - and there will be no stopping it…

I pack some food and the last oxygen tank I could find, and place them in the back of my boot. I drive far, hoping I can escape this disaster. Maybe I can find a place where there are still trees that produce oxygen. I’m not hopeful. I make it to an empty reserve and get out of my car exploring. This world is my home. I cry like never before whispering, “I'll miss this place…”

Without warning…  my life flashes before my eyes as I gasp for air. My lungs feel like they’re bursting. I struggle to breathe and I scream for help, but no one can hear me. I race to my car and get out my oxygen tank. I take one big, long, hard breath in. *999 breaths left*.

This oxygen tank is the only thing keeping me alive! I have to do all the things I enjoy, say goodbye to my loved ones and make sure I make the most of my short time left here on Earth. This is shocking, horrible and breathtaking... *950 breaths left* The first thing I do is drive back to my home and play my favourite game, Fortnite *750 breaths left*. The next thing I do is play soccer with my best mate, Logan. That was so much fun! *500 breaths left*

After all that, I go back home and visit loved ones. “I will miss you” I say, as we all hug each other tight. *300 breaths left* I say goodbye, my final goodbye to everyone that I love. I hold my cat close, feeling her soft cuddly fur rub against my face. I whisper to her, “I love you”*100 breaths left*. I  get sadder and sadder as my breaths go down *50 breaths left*.
Goodbye *0 breaths left*.

No air, no life
