A message from Mernda Rail

As you might already know, the new train stations at Mernda, Middle Gorge and Hawkstowe will open on Sunday 26 August 2018. Buses in the Plenty Valley network will be adjusted to give the community convenient connections to the new stations. This means new bus routes and timetables will also start from Sunday 26 August 2018.

As part of the revised bus services starting on 26 August, Route 387 will change in the Mernda area to connect to Mernda Station. It will also have a new timetable.

387 Mernda Station to Bundoora RMIT via Hawkstowe Parade and South Morang

There will also be a new loop service to connect Mernda and Doreen to shopping centres and the new Mernda station:

NEW ROUTE! 388 Mernda Station and Doreen (anti-clockwise loop)
NEW ROUTE! 389 Mernda Station and Doreen (clockwise loop)

Students who want to catch the new routes 388 and 389 from Mernda or Doreen should also be aware that, due to road works, these routes will have temporary changes between Eminence Boulevard and Bridge Inn Road (map
attached):

From 26 August 2018, it will travel along Eminence Boulevard and Bassetts Road
Once the works are finished, it will travel along Painted Hills Road
